Our School Day

For all classes except the Nursery, our school day is from 8.45am - 3.20pm. With registration taken at 8.50am.

The school gates open at 8.40am and the classroom doors at 8.45am.

In the Nursery, the day begins at 9am and ends at 12pm.

Morning Break

The children in Year 1 to Year 6 have a morning break at 10.40. Children may bring in a healthy snack to eat during break.

All children take their break outside, unless its raining and wet play indoors is put in place.

Lunchtime

Lunch starts at 12.00 or 12.10. Our lunchtime controllers supervise lunchtime, on a rota timetable.

EYFS all eat together in the school hall. The rest of the school eat their school meals in the hall, and children with a packed lunch eat in the allocated classrooms with lunchtime controller supervision.

End of The Day

The school day ends at 3.20pm.

Reception to Year 4 staff release the children to a known adult.

Year 5 and 6 are released from their class. To walk home from school, parents/carers have to give permission to the school. We only allow this in year 6.

School Assemblies

We hold school assembly and singing assembly during the week. These are held at 9.05am.

Throughout the year we hold class assemblies and these start at 9.05am. Dates are provided in our newsletter and calendar.

Wrap Around Care

The school runs an in house wrap around care; Pegasus Club. The Breakfast Club runs from 7.45am and the After School Club until 6pm.  Find out more here.

In a typical week, we provide 15 hours for Nursery and 32.5 hours for all other classes.
