Sports Premium 

Schools receive PE and sport premium funding; ring fenced money to spend on improving the quality of PE and sports provision. 

Head teachers decide how best to spend the Premium funding, although they remain accountable and must be able to demonstrate effective spending and impact across the school. The Department of Education requires schools in receipt of the funding, to publish evidence of their annual spend and its impact:
